Our court hire venue is High St Hall, which is located at 47 Bussell Hwy, West Busselton.

If you’d like to organise pickleball court hire in Perth, we sell paddles and balls that you will need. Please visit our shop - purchased items can be collected from Bayswater or posted to you.

High St Hall is an indoor venue with a surface similar to an outdoor court, so outdoor Franklin X-40 pickleballs perform well.

Our court hire cost varies. The cheapest option is to choose a time when we have already booked the venue and our club coach is on site.

At other times, when we have to hire the venue outside of our normal times, and/or when we have to pay a coach a call-out fee to travel to the venue, set up the nets, and then pack away the nets, our court hire rate is more expensive.

Furthermore, our venue bookings with the City of Busselton are for the whole venue only - we are unable to simply pay for 1 court. This further increases the amount we have to charge for court hire to ensure that we bring in enough to cover our venue hire bill.

Bookings must be made at least 4 days in advance to ensure availability.

The court hire rate is $40 per hour per court during the following time, with the court hire duration being 1.5hrs:

• Thursdays 7:30pm - 9:00pm

This equates to a total cost of:

• $60 for 1 court or $15 per player (4)

———2ND BEST RATE———

The court hire rate is $50 per hour per court during the following times, with the court hire duration being 1.5hrs:

• Fridays 7pm - 8:30pm

• Saturdays 4pm - 5:30pm

• Sundays 5pm - 6:30pm

This equates to a total cost of:

• $75 for 1 court or $18.75 per player (4)

———3RD BEST RATE———

The court hire rate is $30-$40 per hour per court during the following times, with the court hire duration being 1.5hrs for a minimum of 2 courts.

• Saturdays 5:30pm - 7pm

• Sundays 6:30pm - 8:00pm

This equates to a total cost of:

• $135 for 3 courts or $11.25 per player (12)

• $120 for 2 courts or $15 per player (8)

———4TH BEST RATE———

The court hire rate outside of the above times is $40 per hour per court for a minimum of 2 hours and 3 courts.

This equates to a total cost of:

• $240 for 3 courts or $20 per player (12)

Court hire availability is dependent on whether the City of Busselton has already hired the venue out to another hirer or not, as the venue is also used by a martial arts club, a table tennis club, a gymnastics club, a badminton club, a circus club, a dancing club, and an acting club.

Other times will usually be unavailable. During the school holidays, availability improves slightly.

We receive an overwhelming number of court hire enquiries, and, after spending the very little admin time we have to find a suitable court hire time, make the booking with the City of Busselton, and communicate back and forth with the hirer etc, too often in the past the hirer decided to cancel or ghost us, which left us out of pocket for:

• the City of Busselton’s venue hire bill

• the time we spent arranging everything

• the other court hire or private lesson enquiries we turned down as we had reserved that time for the hirer

It is therefore no longer feasible to offer court hire unless we receive payment for our services.

Cancelling court hire request before court hire booking made:

If we can’t find a suitable time and no booking has been made, we can refund you 95% of your court hire fee (to cover the fees we get charged by Stripe for processing the credit card payment and Punchpass for processing the booking request), or you can spend 100% of your court hire fee at our pro shop.

Cancelling at least 24 hours prior to court hire starting:

Once a booking has been made, we get charged for the venue hire with City of Busselton and we turn down other court hire and private lesson booking requests. So after covering those shortfalls and Stripe and Punchpass fees as explained above, we can refund you 40% of your court hire fee, or you can spend 55% of your court hire fee at our pro shop.

Cancelling at least 3 hours prior to court hire starting:

For the reasons explained above, we can refund you 20% of your court hire fee, or you can spend 35% of your court hire fee at our pro shop.

No-shows are not entitled to any refund or spend at our pro shop.
